Do you know how good day feels like?

I tell you how.

You get up from bed, annoyed first not having enough time to sleep, it felt like you were finally closing your eyes but alas, you have class you can't. So you splash water on your face in hope of your tiredness to fade away but it doesn't. Then you have breakfast and tea(the crucial drink of the day).Brush your teeth, clean your face, put some liner and lipstick on and try to look less ugly. Then you leave for your class and stuck in traffic jam listening to your old memory card songs. Then finally, after like half an hour you check in to your university building. But then your cousin calls and tells you come to the third building cafeteria because you have to collect a book from her and she's attending her mid in ten mins so you cross the road again, go and meet her and grab the book, wish her good luck and tell her she's gonna do great. Then you cross the road again. Arrive to class on time. Yawn several times during the class. Tell T you like her dress, She says that, it's not her favorite wear because her tailor made the fittings wrong.  But she thanks you anyway. Then your course teacher asks for the assignment you worked on last night till 4, and you feel like not submitting it because you aren't so happy with it. But you submit it anyway. Your another class is in fifteen mins so you and T and Meanie(I am naming this friend of mine this because he's sorta mean to me) go outside, and you hangout with the singer guy you have been crushing on who called you his sister on a group chat and has pretty girlfriend and you have no hard feelings since crushing on him isn't some serious shit. You and T wait for Meanie to finish his cigarette and talk with the singer guy and Skinnie(another nickname for a friend who's very skinny) The singer tells you to change your shampoo brand because your hair looks a mess and you know he's just teasing you, he likes doing that because you are very easy to pick on. And when Meanie finishes his smoking, you guys cross the road together, because you have that class on other building. You sit beside Meanie, Meanie steals T's phone and before he could do anything with it lecturer arrives, the lecture starts. But you are thinking about the singer guy. And then class is done, you guys meet sumo, nalu and Kewl(That cool boy you so much adore) and he grabs the strap of your bag when you were to leave, and then you end up going with everybody to have lunch, Kewl's non-stop talking doesn't bother you a bit and you enjoy everybody's company.

Then you guys leave for coffee, singer guy calls you beautiful, you feel good inside. Then he tells you your last name is good (because his girlfriend's first name is same) you don't get the joke. Then he calls you an idiot and walks away. You still feel good. Then you buy T a chicken roll and that puts a smile on her face, that makes you smile too and you go up to sumo hug her face randomly telling her it is so better to hug a hizabi because then you don't gross out with face sweats because every time you hugged a non-hizabi, you get some face-oil on your cheek or that person gets some on their cheek. Hearing this they and kewl laughs and you feel good making Kewl laugh because he's usually too cool to laugh at your jokes. Then you guys go to cafeteria building and singer guy makes fun of your hair again. But it doesn't bother you anymore because you know he loves making fun of you. You meet your other friends, the good couple always saying nice things to you, you stay for a while. Then T leaves and you also call your mother to send car, you hear the driver has already arrived there so you say goodbyes and hug your two girlpals sumo, nalu and walk up to the car that was parked right at the entrance, you get in, put your headphones on, to old songs again and smile realizing that you had a good day today. <3

I don't have much good days to compare with so yeah. All in all, it was good.

opposite sides of a coin

Hi B,  I've been sort of busy with the training for the job and have another interview coming tomorrow. I am torn between staying with the current job and switching or keeping both as part times. I don't know, I guess I will have a decision made if the interview goes well. I have been traveling far for the current one and every time I get on the bus or the the train I feel depression kicking in full force. Suddenly I remember home, the comfort of being around my loved ones, the easy life I once had back in Bangladesh. Certainly, there are things that weren't easy but I guess it felt easy because I was more used to it. Transport was rickshaw and didn't even think twice before booking an uber because I always had some money with me. Now I have literally 200 dollars to go by and I have to think twice to even buy a cup of coffee or a piece of bread. I guess with time, I will be able to save up some money. I am glad at least I got to start working. It is still very overwhelm...

world war?

Dear B,  I don't watch the news but there has been a lot of speculations on social media of a possible world war III. My sister just texted me that I should save up money as we don't know what that might do to the economy. It is ironic because I just ordered something online last night. Every time I go out, I spend. I don't even have a good paying job and I spend like I have full time. However, one thing I learned from my past is that there is no point in stressing about the future. What I have control over is now. I can either live in the moment or ruin it by ruminating and what good will it bring to my life? Living alone can get boring. However, I am trying to find things to do. Maybe I will visit a bookstore today. Lets see.  I have rearranged the furnitures yesterday. Cleaned as well. The place looks good.  Maybe I will go IKEA. I love it there. Even though I can't afford furnitures, I just enjoy looking at them. Oh what to tell you B. My in-laws are coming this...

"Because nothing makes me happier and nothing makes me sadder than you.”

“If I had a camera," I said, "I'd take a picture of you every day. That way I'd remember how you looked every single day of your life." "I look exactly the same." "No, you don't. You're changing all the time. Every day a tiny bit. If I could, I'd keep a record of it all." "If you're so smart, how did I change today?" "You got a fraction of a millimeter taller, for one thing. Your hair grew a fraction of a millimeter longer. And your breasts grew a fraction of a—" "They did not!" "Yes, they did." "Did NOT." "Did too." "What else, you big pig?" "You got a little happier and also a little sadder." "Meaning they cancel out each other, leaving me exactly the same." "Not at all. The fact that you got a little happier today doesn't change the fact that you also become a little sadder. Every day you become a little more of both, which me...
