Inspiration

The word inspiration reminds of my cool Daddy. From the very childhood days to this critical stage of my teen age life i would just go without saying that he's been my one and only inspiration. There's no such famous writers or celebrities or anyone that i can really admire more than i admire my father. He's such a blessing for me. He's so precious, so sophisticated, so updated and so simple. His simplicity amazes me. His way of taking things seriously, his concerning behavior, his amazing personality...he's one hell of a unique person that i would never be able to find in other guys. I want him to live to the infinity. I love him so much!

For the discouraged, disheartened and broken people, Inspiration paves the day. It makes us strong enough to face situations, it helps us to see things in a different point of view, it gives us a new bright light, it guides us, it is something we all need eventually. When i get down, i get up, how? by getting inspired. I mean, really it's an intensive power, it converts our hopelessness into confidence. So, Get inspired! It cures depressions. :)

I always consider myself the luckiest girl in the world. How did i get the bestest father in the world?! God! thanks for your mercy! The one thing about my Dad that i admire most is having the strength of not giving up. He knows he can do it. He will work the hardest, he will make it worthy. He never cheats, he is the person that believes in things that are fair to the world, he's realistic, practical and the most honest person i know of. So you say, do i need any famous writer or blogger to get me inspired? Hell no!

he needed.” - Princess Tiana

But the thing is: Loving someone unconditionally can be really scary. I'm scared of the day when i would not find him beside me, I don't want the day ever to come. He's always there for me, He's my hero! I just pray every single time to Allah, to take my life before he takes my daddy's...i can't just tolerate any bad things happening to him, can't also break the nature's law.But what i can do is give my all and all to take care of my daddy like the way he's been taking care of me since i was born. I am so proud to have such father like him.

Inspiration is a good thing if you can utilize it in a good way. If we copy all the good qualities of the people around us, and try to form them in our minds, the world could be a better place. So it is only you who can choose the right from the wrong and make your life worth living.because...
Life doesn't have to be perfect to be wonderful. :)

You tuck me in,
Turn out the light
kept me safe and sound at night
little girls depend on things like that

Brushed my teeth and combed my hair
had to drive me everywhere
you were always there when I looked back

You had to do it all alone
Make a living, make a home
Must have been as hard as it could be

***
you would hold my hand and sing to me
***
Turned around and you were there
The two of us made quite a pair
Daddy's little girl was here at last
Looked away and back again
Suddenly a year was ten
Don't know how it got so far so fast

And yes dear, you don't understand
It's not anything we planned
Kind of makes you think it's meant to be (it's a destiny)
I always knew the day would come
You'd stop crawling, start to run
Beautiful as beautiful can be ....... <3

opposite sides of a coin

Hi B,  I've been sort of busy with the training for the job and have another interview coming tomorrow. I am torn between staying with the current job and switching or keeping both as part times. I don't know, I guess I will have a decision made if the interview goes well. I have been traveling far for the current one and every time I get on the bus or the the train I feel depression kicking in full force. Suddenly I remember home, the comfort of being around my loved ones, the easy life I once had back in Bangladesh. Certainly, there are things that weren't easy but I guess it felt easy because I was more used to it. Transport was rickshaw and didn't even think twice before booking an uber because I always had some money with me. Now I have literally 200 dollars to go by and I have to think twice to even buy a cup of coffee or a piece of bread. I guess with time, I will be able to save up some money. I am glad at least I got to start working. It is still very overwhelm...

spring is almost here

Hi B,  Season is changing. The hard days are almost over.  The city I live in has turned so beautiful, I get overwhelmed by the beauty.  Tulips are in. Cherry blossoms are blossoming.  Magnolia, Beautiful white flowers, name unknown to me.  Taking a walk out feels like a celebration of life.  It feels like I'm falling in love with the city.  I remember when I first moved here 2 years ago, the excitement and the crippling anxiety of starting a new life from scratch. Now, after 2 years, I feel a warmth and love for the place.  I don't know if I would feel the same when the winter comes though. Seasonal depression is no joke.  My new mantra for life now is to chill.  Praise the nature and find pretty little corners in the city.  Write poems.  Paint, maybe.  Seek positivity.  Love. Be kind to self. No rush. Read books. Just flow.

healing in progress

Dear B,  What I learned from the past week is that I tend to take on grief from others in my family like my own. Even though there is nothing I can do about it to ease other's pain. Hence, I suffer internally.  There is a song that I deeply connect with:  Tu Jhoom | Naseebo Lal x Abida Parveen. It kind of goes like this: “What is meant to be yours will find you through any excuse. My heart, understand that there is nothing in your control. You just swirl (let it go)” My brother recently got rejected from a marriage proposal from a girl he really liked. It was arranged but this was his first experience talking with a girl. Seeing him being torn left me in tears as I know how much he was hurting. He is such a gentle soul. I took his pain as if my own and could not sleep at night. Nothing I say could ease his suffering but I still tried to cheer him up. I prayed genuinely for him to be showered with blessings. I want him to experience life, be with someone who would ca...
