Hi B, I've learned a few things the hard way. Having empathy and compassion is a curse sometimes. These past few days have been so stressful. My brother who got married recently has been having issues with the marriage and as usual he would come to my parents and us whenever there's a real life issue- which is fine. He doesn't have a solid support system in place. We are all he has. However, seeing a 30-year-old male cry because he can't solve his own problems he caused- is kind of annoying. My first reaction wasn't annoyance though. I kept consoling him and my parents and kept on saying it's gonna be alright. It got to a point where I started losing the sense of boundaries. Whatever that's gonna happen with his married life- it's not my burden to bear. Seeing him heart broken, did break my heart. I felt like he is in a surrounding where he can't grow. My parents have made him so delicate like whenever a real situation arrives, he doesn't know...
